BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
Industrial Engineering and Management is focused on the rationalization of resource use (machines, transportation systems, tools, IT resources, people, space, finances, etc.) in organizations, with the goal of improving their performance.
The objective of the Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management is to provide students with a solid foundation in basic sciences and engineering, complemented by foundational training in industrial engineering and management, ensuring the graduates’ competitive performance in the production systems of the organizations they join.
The program provides the acquisition of specific skills that enable the application of engineering methods and scientific management principles to the production systems of goods and services, aiming to achieve the most effective integration and coordination of company processes, using various types of human, material, technical, economic, and informational resources.

Accreditation by A3ES
The Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (A3ES) decided to accredit the LEGI (Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering and Management) without conditions for a period of 6 years, on October 22, 2020, in accordance with the recommendation and rationale produced by the respective External Evaluation Commission. Academic Degree
The degree of Bachelor’s is awarded to students who have completed 180 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.
