MASTER'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The Master’s in Engineering Project Management (MGPE) aims to train professionals to work on high-complexity engineering projects with various profiles in the management of technological development and implementation processes.
The MGPE program offers specialization in three domains of engineering project execution: Industrial Engineering (projects within the manufacturing, processing, and service industries), Information Systems (projects in the field of information technology and information systems), and Construction (buildings and public works in civil engineering). The MGPE program provides competent and scientifically informed involvement in engineering projects, combining scientific and technological knowledge in the field of expertise with the ability to plan, control, and manage their execution in an economically viable way and with appropriate quality standards.
The MGPE is an educational project that spans three departments of the School of Engineering (Department of Production and Systems, Department of Information Systems, and Department of Civil Engineering) and will benefit from the human resources and expertise available in these three departments in the areas covered by the master’s program, with this interdisciplinarity being considered a valuable asset in the field of Project Management.
